Do you do videography?
Yes, we do and we are so excited document all those special memories! We offer films for weddings, engagements, and family sessions. We love when couples and families combine our services, but that is not a requirement to book us for photography or videography. We believe in community over competition and enjoy working with other photographers and videographers when we get the chance. We will note that when our services are combined, you do get a special discount 😉
Forgot the best part… we have a drone! Drone photographs and video (weather and location permitting) are available with any outdoor photography session or wedding. Drone footage is included in all our wedding videography collections and can be added to any family film or couple’s session.
What do we need to do to officially book you?
A signed contract and retainer fee is required to book your date and lock us in. We do all invoices and contracts online, you are able to pay online or mail a check.
Do you have business insurance?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. We will send a copy over to your venue if needed.
Do you travel for weddings? Is there a fee?
Yes! We travel nationally and internationally for weddings and elopements. We are based in St. Petersburg, Fl (central Florida). Currently as of May 2020 we are limiting our travel to the US, Canada, and the Caribbean. We hope to be able to travel further away again real soon. Reach out if you have more questions on where we go or want to travel to. We do have a bucket list for locations that do not have a travel fee.
Wedding and elopements outside of Florida may have a travel fee. Each wedding is different and it depends on how long we are there and how far we have to travel.
Should we arrange your hotel and flight?
We will book our flights, car transportation, and hotel. If you’re staying at a lodge or resort, we like to stay at the same place or close by. In most cases, this includes 2-3 nights at a hotel, arriving at least one full day ahead of the wedding to scout and prepare. We do our best to find the most reasonably priced travel options.
Why hire us instead of a resort photographer or a photographer included in a venue package?
If you’re getting married at a resort or venue with an all inclusive package, they may show you a list of photographers, but it’s so important to choose someone who will take the time to plan with you, get to know you, and give you the best experience and photos unique to you! We help create a timeline for the day with you so you can relax and enjoy your wedding and your loved ones.
Who will actually be at my wedding to photograph?
Our boss lady Amanda will be available for the first wedding booked on that date (that’s her to the right 9 months pregnant rockin’ it). Any other wedding booked after that will be one of our trusted associates. We all have the same posing style and all images and video are edited to fall in line with our brand.
How many images do we get and can we have the unedited ones?
For a full day wedding on average there will be 400-600 fully edited images. Smaller events with less hours you can expect somewhere between 100-400. We only offer fulled edited images to our clients. All images and video are edited to align with our style which is clean, natural, and true to color. We thoughtfully and carefully narrow down images to give you the absolute best images. We remove any blurry, under exposed, over exposed, unflattering expressions, blinks, and duplicate images. Raw video is available as an add on option if you choose to add video to your collection.
Is there a way for all the guests to see all the photos?
Of course! You get your own online gallery that anyone you share with can view, download, or order prints and products.
How long does it take to get our photos and/or video?
Online galleries will be sent within 2-6 weeks of the wedding. Video and other photography products may take up to 8 weeks.
What are you like at the wedding?
Our usual selves. For the most part we are like a fly on the wall documenting your day. Occasionally stepping in to move something out of the background. While you are getting ready we will be moving around doing details and candids of everyone. For the ceremony and reception we do not interrupt the activities, we want it to be natural. We tend to photograph formal pictures after the ceremony. This includes any family or friends you want a properly posed picture with as well as the wedding party. We like to start big and narrow down to just the two of you and us.
What happens if we wait to book and the quote you sent with travel fees has expired?
It’s ok! Booking a photographer is a big decision. We don’t buy anything til the contract is signed and the retainer is paid. We will send you an updated quote with the updated travel fees. If we check tickets and they are the same, you are good to go. Our quotes for travel are usually good for a week only because traveling changes on a daily basis. If we end up booking something cheaper than expected the extra travel fee will go towards your collection you have chosen.
We aren’t sure where we want to get married, will you help find a location?
Oh my goodness, yes! We love love to plan and find locations. Once you book with us, we’re happy to share all the location information we have with you and help you pick a spot that’s a perfect fit. We will try to find a place that is meaningful to you as a couple and not so overcrowded with visitors. If you do however want a popular spot, we will give you a heads up about the crowds. We will do our best to not get people in the background, but we cannot promise to have a clean people free background.
What if we are getting married in a place you haven’t been before?
Not a problem, we are adventurous and will go just about anywhere. Love new locations and places we haven’t traveled before. We do a lot of research before we go to a new place so we will be prepared and know where to go to get those amazing shots!
How much will you help us plan? Do we need a wedding planner?
For elopements with just the two of you, we can help with anything you may need on the planning front. We don’t book vendors for you, but can recommend some. We will recommend activities and things to do during your trip and how we should spend your wedding day.
Our priority when it comes to all things wedding and photography is to make sure we are protecting and appreciating the environment we are in. What we take in, we take out and make sure to do no harm in the process. For weddings with a larger guest size, we do suggest hiring a planner (we will send you a few we love.) They will help find a location that has a more open space so we do not cause harm to the environment around us. Your planner will help you get the proper permits and permissions to have your wedding there and set everything up for you.
